I'm getting increasingly fed up with the admin service I'm getting from Tidal.
Seriously considering Deezer lossless with a Chromecast music dongle attached to my ND5XS.
Anybody else have this or undergone a similar change?
What loss of sound quality can I expect, if any?

I assume you know the Chromecast audio device has optical out capability.
I'd be interested to know more about Deezer as just noticed they have a reasonable family plan potentially without all the faff of Apple Music.
Not sure if you've considered Qobuz but may be worth a look (I've used them for a few years).

Chromecast from an Android device works just fine. However, if the cast option in the media player you use doesn't do gapless playback, just use the "Cast Screen" option - then you'll get gapless playback back again.
