Yes. I use the rear port for usb hdd as a music store and the front port for hi res files copied onto memory stick. Both devices can be seen in the server menu or front only in the usb input menu.
Annoyingly a major reason for purchasing the Star over the Nova was the ability to use it as a store to take all my music [therefore no requirement to use the front usb), but since mid-December the ability to import music has been removed. This means that I still need to use the PC frequently to copy hi res to usb or continue to use as a server - the PC is a noisy swine and due to the size and layout of the room my listening position is very close to it.
Very much beginning to regret the purchase over a Nova and a NAS.
