show us your dressing up! ????

Would love to see people’s tactics of your cable dressing and opinions on what you feel has enhanced your listening experience.
The main thing this thread has done is convince me never to go to separates - I've got enough on my plate without adding this level of OCD into my life...
Mu-so may be the answer after all.

I have some of the 500 burndies on the floor - thinking of using some of the large "air bubble" packaging material to lift them.
That sounds like a very good idea. I have some longer Fraim legs to collect from my local dealer at the weekend. When I install these it will mean the NAP500 goes down to the lowest level in the left stack with its PS next to it on the right hand stack. I'm sure this will place the Burndies firmly on the floor, so I think I'll see if I can try the large bubble wrap idea instead of pipe lagging. Or maybe as well as. My wife will, no doubt, think I'm getting a bit OCD.
Is it that bad?

Not least because, spurred on by this thread, I don't have an up to date photo of my set up's rear end & underwear dressing, all I have is CDX2 & that was moved out almost 4 years ago.
OK here's my just dusted down rear end. The Supernait's connected to NDX & NAT-05 with made to measure Mogami W2549 & Neutrik-REAN DIN's, the SN is also feeding my 2nd system Nait-2 from its buffered Tape Out. The NDX has an input from TV via optical. In the lower section of rack houses cuddly toy PSU's for SN & NDX, the MK socket power strip with DC offset filter & one channel of folded speaker cable is hidden in a designed in section between rack & floor.
Popeye's original post asked: ...... and opinions on what you feel has enhanced your listening experience. The Mogami IC's improved the SQ detail, but that was probably just the cable rather that the minimal length. I have made a point of separating signal, speaker & power as much as possible & apart from that I don't believe any of the tidy obsession does much for SQ.
Yep, that's the neatness I recall. Thanks, Mike

Loving this thread.
So far Dan.S this looks just perfect for a nice and simple high quality set up.
Although that left positive speaker cable appears to be doing a whiskey tango foxtrot.
The cable has been cut uneven and left it as it is ever since Ive bought it 2 years ago. No point in rectifying, my phantom should arrive in a week or so. I’m thinking about a fraim as well.
Loving this thread too. Key for me it to make sure that no cable gets closer to any other one by less than 2-3cm except for the 252’s Burndy and Snaic. I check my cables twice a week. I occasionally have to gently push one or two of them around to ensure the rule is respected. It does make a difference. I can always tell by listening whether a PL got to close to another, not to mention the HLs..

Clive, put the 555 PS on the top right hand stack. That way the two burndies will be off the floor.
Only right for me to put mine up having started the thread. New dedicated supply installed as you can see in the bottom left of the image. No cables touching. ????????
