Synology Update Lost Media Server

Synology update DSM 6.1.5-15254 is in the hopper ready to install or if you are set for auto-update, its been done. Problem I had with mine is it 'lost' Media Server. Its still there, the app works as normal, its just not showing as an icon on the Synology GUI (computer screen) Main Menu.

The fix is simples, go to Main Menu, open Package Centre, open Installed, open Media Server, touch the Action button & then touch Stop. Let it complete its stop process & then touch Run. The Media Server icon will be back on the Main Menu.

Not sure if it does the same for Minimserver.

Thanks for the heads up. I now know to look out for this when I do the install at the weekend.
