I hope its worth it?

After much deliberation I have decided to order two Full Naim Fraims, base plus three shelves in Black.
Having spent sometime researching Racks and looking at other options, I have convinced myself that despite the considerable cost that it will be money well spent.......
I am very much hoping that I won’t be disappointed???????

I like the feel of space between the boxes, the extra height makes it easier for cable hanging and possible future upgrades...

Also anything that can create extra space between and around boxes can only help with isolation and hence SQ. It looks great too.
Congrats, got there in the end. Hope you do think it is worth it.

From what I have heard so far, I am very pleased to say I am absolutely delighted..
Nice job. Excellent.
I looks excellent and I'm sure that it makes a big difference. I am also a fan of medium space Fraim
I’m extremely pleased to say that everyone on the forum that provided me with some much needed reassurance, were absolutely bang on the money, to coin a phase....
The system has had a few more hours to bed in and I am totally astonished with such an significant improvement......
the dynamic, the detail, the clarity that has arrived is exceptional....it feels as if the Black boxes have been holding back and their true potential is being fulfilled...
I am without doubt elated.
So thanks everyone for the positive comments... and general tips and advice in assembling the fraim. (And Finkfan for his expertise today)
If anyone is thinking about spending their hard earned money on a Naim Fraim then rest assured it will be money well spent.
That's excellent news Wenger. Looks great too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the boxes take a little time to settle down after being removed and reconnected.... or have I totally lost the plot...?
Yeah Naim kit seems to need a day or two to get fully back into the groove after a few hours of powering down so that's not unlikely.
Looks really nice WENGER,I am glad it all worked out well for you.Myself I did not hear THAT significant an improvement when I added my Fraim, but I do not regret buying it for one minute.I just wonder if in your case,a supercap DR would of brought more??

Possibly in my case the previous rack I was using, despite my adaptations to it, was far worse then I realised....hence the Significant improvement....
as for SC dr, logically that’s the next move for me, but I’m quite happy to just enjoy this upgrade

Would depend on whether No Quarter had medium legs like you or long legs. These do make a difference, as does cable dressing and other aspects of setup.
Enjoy the fact that you are getting big benefits!

Yes, I thought it would be a good idea to have the extra height with the medium legs, keeps those burndies nicely off the floor, helps with the other interconnects,, plus some boxes benefit with having more space
Actually I have one set of tall legs on the bottom shelf, and three regular shelves above.Cables are all dressed, nothing touches the floor,or any other cable.Top shelf is 272,below it is Core, below that is my Teac CD/DSD player, next is the 250 DR,and on the bottom(with tall legs) is the XPSDR.It might be just that I had a good solid setup before I bought the Fraim...it did sound better, just not earth shattering.

Sounds like you have got your set up just right.
I assume the Sopra’s are staying?

Have you considered moving the core away from the rest of your system? I found doing that with my UnitiServe made a difference.
WENGER
Yes the Sopras are staying,I have also just ordered Superlumina speaker cables and Din to XLR.
S3
No I have not considered moving the Core,I just ordered a DC1 cable to connect it to my 272,which I thought was the best way to connect it???

I think your new Cables will be what we call ‘the icing on the cake’.
The cables will make a significant improvement once they have bedded in.

I hope so Wenger, maybe you noticed a bigger improvement than me with Fraim, because you have already installed high end cables...and I am using the stock Din to Xlr,and Naca5.I have read plenty of threads here about the Superlumina cables, and the break in required.
