I hope its worth it?

After much deliberation I have decided to order two Full Naim Fraims, base plus three shelves in Black.
Having spent sometime researching Racks and looking at other options, I have convinced myself that despite the considerable cost that it will be money well spent.......
I am very much hoping that I won’t be disappointed???????

I think we're getting close to having a material suitable for a Two Ronnies sketch

Tap the glass with the fork handles?
Four candles would be duller......
You will not regret it..... everything will work more in harmony and the system should be more coherent. ... particularly when you turn the wick up. My rack is not as posh as yours .... Atacama evoque se. ... but it made a big difference female vocals in particular .... and bass was more agile.
With 8 levels to rotate and flip there’ll be a lot dinging in the Wenger house soon.

And 24 ball squeaking opportunities!
In all seriousness, the question is, if a glass shelf doesn’t ding on either side, where best to use it?
Under the sky box?
Look, enough is enough. This is serious business and if you lot continue to have a larf at us audiofile's expense then i shall….I shall….go to another forum where such matters are given the consideration they deserve!!!
I'm off to tap my glass and polish my balls.
Outraged, of Chesham.
What should happen is all the glass panels need a ding test back at Naim before they are sent out?

Apparently if your going to polish your balls... it’s first anti clockwise then clockwise.... or is it the other way round...

See this is the sort of comment that I find soooo infuriating!
It clearly matters not a jot whether you polish your balls in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction as long as they squeak at the end of the process. A more sensible point to raise is, at what frequency should a properly polished ball squeak at?
(BTW - as an owner of Fraim, there is a small element of self deprecation going on here)
Perhaps Oxfam could advise. Oh, did I really say that?

Naughty boy!
I stand suitably rebuked.
Do steel balls give the best squeak?

Is their any other option?
any of the “normals”out in the real world would read this any think we are all completely insane. So we are an exclusive club of nut jobs. Somehow I’m ok with this. Fits my OCD perfectly. I mean can u imagine explaining the ding and dong to a normal person?

In answer to your question NO.....
Wenger in all seriousness Fraim is 100% no brainer. Even with my all Olive system it basically completed my system. It was nice improvement over my previous rack- an Audiophile Base rack which wasn’t a cheap rack btw.
u will love it, david

Not funny.
Now you start to understand why there's no formal mention of any of this from Naim themselves...

I assume a lot of glass shelves would be sent back to Naim HQ because of faulty ding tests? .....
No doubt!!
Eta yet Wenger?

Unfortunately not, update from Dealer yesterday not yet been dispatched from Naim
