Sample/bit rate

Is it something I am doing or is it normal for the sample/bit rate to be displayed when streaming Tidal, on the app via my phone but not displayed on the app on the iPad?
Thanks all
This might be down to which view you are using on the iPad, and its screen size. Have you tried it in 'portrait' view with the individual track view, as opposed to list view?

Nope makes no difference ????
I’ve just had a look while streaming Tidal, and I see FLAC 44.1 KHz on both the IPad (2017) and IPhone (7), both running latest app and iOS. Only in the view with the big cover pictures, nothing in the other view. IPad shot below, the phone looks the same.

Interesting, maybe an area where the Android app is ahead of the IOS one. I see WAV 44.1kHz 1411bps on UPNP on both devices, but not on Tidal. I’ve checked the app version and I’m running the latest.

Must be that then. I only use Tidal and have no UPNP music.
I find it’s something I look at quite frequently as the bps varies from track to track
I use UPNP and vinyl mainly, but play stuff I don't have on Tidal. I have noticed occasionally that the sound quality on Tidal is poorer than normal, a check has normally led me to find a 320k MP3 being played. That hasn't happened for a few months, I’m sure they’re getting most if not all to FLAC..
