CD3.5 ERR message

Just shelled out GBP80 for a brand new transport (Phillips 1204) for my 3.5. Same ERR message as before. The laser unit doesn't even move on the chrome rails. Laser works but little else. Any ideas?

Dave, DIY discussion falls outside of forum AUP, so I'll be brief; firstly, the CD3.5 uses a VAM1205. This uses a brushless motor. The cheaper VAM1204 cannot be used in its place, although I believe that the laser assembly is similar on both. Secondly, your best bet is to get in touch with Naim's service dept. for further advice.
