Tidal problems

Posted by: Kevin Richardson on 05 March 2018

I've been trying to listen to Tidal but the Naim app keeps asking for my password and says it is wrong. I changed my password on Tidal website and I still cannot get it to work.

Anybody having similar issues?

There's a known issue with Tidal passwords that contain anything other than alphanumeric characters. If that applies to yours, the solution is to change your password via the Tidal app then try logging in on the Naim app again.

I have a basic alphanumeric password and it has worked fine since day 1 of Naim Tidal support. I changed the password today to another basic alphanumeric string. Now I can't even login to my Tidal account on their website.

May need to delete and redownload the naim app. I had to do that once.

Tidal must be having isssues.

My Tidal app works fine and Tidal via the Naim app works, but I can’t log in to Tidal on their website for love nor money. The only way to access my account is to use the option to log in via Twitter or Facebook.

Tidal was playing fine on my 272 this morning. Then after a couple of tracks it stopped. Just says it can’t play, track skipped. Will try restarting 272 later to see if that works. Frustrating

Power down and back up of 272 has fixed the issue

I had a password issue with the Tidal toggle in the NAIM app yesterday. It kept displaying my saved login details when i clicked on it, but wouldn't recognise my password despite the very same password working in the Tidal app.

I re-entered it as a 'new' password in Tidal and now it works fine. ..

Ive had this once with the Naim App. I ended up uninstalling the app and reinstalling it.

Had a similar issue tidal stopped playing and would not recognise my login, cured it in desperation I shut down my unity atom and unplugged the power supply for ten seconds then pluged in again re booted the naimapp and all working fine! ( I may have been just lucy ) Have to say the programming interface between the naim app and tidal is poor quality though....
