Anybody else watching the excellent Mum (Tuesday 10 pm BBC 2) it stars the brilliant Lesley Manville as the hapless Cathy the mum of the title and is written by the same guy who wrote the equally brilliant Him and Her. I think good sit coms are in short supply and this is definitely worth a look if your not already a convert.

Yes, we're generally enjoying it, & it's more appreciated by having no canned laughter. I do hope it reaches a happy conclusion though.

Yep - We've really enjoyed this series. Great to catch up on series one again and now started on series 2.

Yes, although it's lost a bit of the delight from S1 I think, in that the same long running gags are being repeated a little too often IMO. But still funny. 3rd (and final) series has been commissioned so I think we'll have to wait a bit longer for the love story to reach its conclusion.

And I think the final (wedding) series of Him & Her was the best so that's something to look forward to!
