How long does the upgrade take (in minutes/hours)?

Thanks for the support.

Hi Henk,

You *SHOULD* be OK to power the unit off and then on again and that should sort you out - if it's got to the "Firmware Update" stage then it should have updated all the files that it needs to do.

Normall yes, however it can take significantly longer under exceptional circumstances but should definitely take no more than about 45 minutes...

Thanks for the reply Phil.

Yesterday, later in the evening, I switched off the Serve and rebooted afterwards.

There's always a risk with firmware upgrade and shut off the Serve...but I had to take the chance.

All is playing very well.

I can even listen to my favourite Dutch and Belgium radio stations.

Very great improvement for this player.

Thanks again Naim!

Regards

Henk

Seconded.

Paired with the nDac it is makes listening to music a whole lot easier and better.  I'm really happy.

I know there is a view that the US does nothing that a PC can't do - but I tried a long time to find a cost effective way of getting quality input into the DAC and this may not be the cheapest but it is the easiest and the best I tried.
