Naim iOS app

Spent 45mins auditioning the Uniti Atom and Nova yesterday using the Naim app on iPad. The app crashed no less than 5 times. This is both surprising as well as disappointing given the application is already v5.9. That said, the only thing I know is that the app is uptodate. I know nothing about the wifi connectivity, internet connection, etc. So please don't get me wrong I am not bagging the app. This must have been discussed to death by now on the forum but I would like to hear some of the best practises, gotchas, tips and tricks to make the most of the app. Correct me if I am wrong, I guess few would use the remote control finger print magnet over a tablet. How about your experience with iPhone's Naim app?
