DIN to RCA Interconnect suggestion

Posted by: Emme on 30 March 2018

I own a Naim Uniti Star and an analogue phono Benz Micro PP1. Now I use a VdH D502, but I'd like to buy something more "naim-oriented" (RCA to 5 DIN) for a general upgrade.

What are you suggestions?

Does exist a SNAIC RCA to DIN 5? Would be an upgrade from the VdH?

Thank you.

Naim make an RCA to DIN but it’s not a Snaic, Snaics carry power.

Thank you, I understand now.

Standard interconnect cable are on sale "stand-alone" or with Naim equipment only? What's the sound quality level of these cables?

I use Chord Chrysalis RCA - DIN a great 'Lavender' like cable.

I use a Chord Shawline RCA-DIN between my phono stage and Supernait 2. Sounds excellent.

The Naim "lavender" interconnect sounds great - as it should do really.  It's particularly strong with analogue sources too so should be ideal in your scenario above.

It tightened the sound best than others at my disposal at the time I had it.

How about the use of 5 Pin Din to RCA adapters,  are they a limiting factor?

Have a look at the Silver interconnect from Custom Hifi Cables, related my HiLine was a nice improvement.

Sean will make it any length you need and with the right connectors.
