Can't Play - Skipping Track

Posted by: iburnell on 07 April 2018

My music is ripped on ReadyNAS Duo and streamed via Twonky. All was fine with my Uniti, but since upgrading to Nac-n 272 I can see all the albums/tracks just fine via the control software as soon as I try to play  get the above message.

Thoughts?

Clear the UPnP cache in the App.

Try using the remote control.

Reindex the music store.

Restart the Media Server.

Reboot the NAS.

Shut down all the network components and then restart them in the right order.

Hopefully Huge’s suggestion will solve your issue.

I know that when I ran Twonky on my WD MyBookLive NAS drive there was a cofiguration where you could block Twonky from serving media to specific devices identified by their IP/MAC address.

It might be worthwhile having a look at Twonky’s config page if this issue persists.

Thanks for replies. I rebuilt/re-indexed Twonky and restarted but still issues so I purchased Asset uPnP which works just fine

Glad to hear that you have a solution. Interesting, as last year, the developer of Asset said “Unfortunately Asset will not install onto a WM MyCloud, QNAP is needed.”
