Naim Login Fail (Samba) - (Uniti Star/ Roonlabs / Qnap/ AssetPnp)

Hi,

I've recently upgraded and migrated to a Uniti Star playing music from an existing Roon server running on a QNAP NAS. All sounds wonderful, but I keep seeing "Naim Login Fail (Samba)" In the Qnap event notification.

I've searched around for advice and can see nothing to explain or help fix it. I'm not even sure why the Star needs to access the Qnap disk?

I tried switching to AssetPnp, but this made no difference.

As it happens I'll probably need to migrate or run AssetPnp in parallel with Roon if I'm to be able to use multi-room with my Muso's. That is unless anyone here has a better method?

You can use Roon via Airplay, so it can multiroom to Atom and Muso using this if you want it to.

I can't remember where on my Nova, maybe in initial setup you have the option for the Nova to be a DLNA 'aggregator' and be a gateway to other DLNA servers on your network - wonder if it could be this if the other server is not configured ?
