Ah and I thought this was an inspired post on Peter Bischof's band 'Munich' featuring the Supertramp and King Crimson associate Richard Palmer-James on guitar.

I’d love to do this show.  I’ll have to,persuade the Bear to join me one year.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend myself,  but I'm looking forward to hearing your impressions of the ND555.

Don't base your decision re the ND555 on a show-based demo. Use the show to "look" at the kit and to talk to Naim/Dealer.

For kit at this level, you really do need a proper dem.

Flights and hotel booked. I haven’t been to a full blown hfi show since the days of the Heathrow Penta.

Its tempting to book the opera for one evening too but not sure we’ll stay awake after a day at the show so it might have to be the Thursday if that happens.

My wife has family near Munich so we were considering a visit some time this year anyway, the show seem like a good time to go; hearing the ND555 will add a bit of seasoning but the order and deposit are already placed.

There is by the way another reason to visit Munich. The CanJam is opposite the Munich High End at this years event. So two times the fun.....

Since Bert’s thread has gone down the Chord plug hole I’ll revive this one too. 

Arrived in Munich and this evening, will try out our nearest restaurant, named after my tone arm’s maker (almost).

Could meet up on Friday if anyone else is about and there’s any interest.

I went to the alternative die hifdeluxe show a couple of years ago, was on Marriott hotel, some great sound there too
