Jeff Beck

Jeff Beck goes Stevie Wonder. Who’d have seen that coming just a couple of years before 1975’s ‘Blow by Blow’. Testament to his skill, breadth and plain love of music. Could have been in any number of the franchise bands that emerged from the 60s and 70s. Good on him for following his own path. 

I like the bass player at Ronnie Scott's, Tal Winkenfeld.   She is a worthy sideman even for Jeff Beck, and her playing belies her 42 year age differential.

I did like her playing - and easier on the eye than Jeff too, fitting around that bass that’s almost as big as her, if that is an acceptable observation!
