Hi Good people..
I Am confused now. I just ripped my first cd from a Naim Core. And everything seems to be ok. But at the end of the ripping stage it says Delete results or in Dutch resultaten wissen. The cd won"t eject automaticly either. Is there something wrong?
Sounds like the core was not set up correctly, such as preparing the hard drive as a music store, etc
Hi Fred,
As I don't know what you have done so far in setting up your Core it's difficult to offer much assistance.
However, before I started with mine I read through this a few times...
https://www.naimaudio.com/product/uniti-core
Hope it helps as I'm finding the Core a great piece of kit.

Not exactly the link I wanted to post.
However, on that page scroll to the bottom and click the arrow next to Support. Work your way through those topics.
If of course you haven't already done so.
Is the delete results on the ripping monitor screen? If so this is simply so that you can get rid of them if you don't need them any more, for example you have seen that it ripped ok.
I'm less sure why the CD didn't eject. You may find it ejects if you turn the Core off and on again, but otherwise there is a small hole on the right hand side of the front and you can use a paper clip or similar inserted there to force a manual eject.

David,
Yes the message is on the ripping monitor screen. Ripping seems to be ok. And deleting the message shows up the insert next cd screen and the ripping goes further. Nothing strange seems te happen.
I ripped ten cds sofar, and none will eject automaticly. Only with the eject button it works. Strange.
I recall a thread a while back where someone had the same problem of CDs not ejecting after a Core firmware update. The fix that Naim suggested was to reset the Core to factory settings. You do that by turning it off completely, so power off at the mains socket or pull the mains plug out. Then holding in the standby button, connect the mains up again. Keep holding the button in until the light by the front panel USB flashes, then let the standby button go and wait until it finishes starting up. Then you should be ok. I think you have to reselect the internal disc as Music Store but not format it of course.

Many thanks David. I will try later on the afternoon. Hope this will solve this problem. Have a nice day!
David,
I did just as you were saying. And it works but after I let go of the standby button I am prompted to to reinstall my product on the Ipad screen. I press the Core symbol and the first he does is to look up my product on the network..ehh does that for two hours now and seems to findnothing. Help.
Umm.
well first thing I would do would be to swipe the app off and then restart it, assuming you are on an IOS app.
if it still can't find the Core then I think restart the Core. So take the power off, then start it as normal.
If that doesn't work then I would turn it off again and restart your router, when it has finished starting up, then turn the Core on again.
Any luck here?
