Nac282/Supercap or Superline/Supercap.

I would like to know where I would get the best performance from a Supercap. I'm currently powering my 282 with 2 hicap DR's and my superline with a hicap. Having just purchased a supercap, would it be better placed with the 282 or the superline?

If vinyl playback is your priority, then definitely on the Superline.  If not, i.e. you mainly listen to digital or split digital to vinyl fairly evenly, then maybe better on the NAC282.  The bad news is that you'll need to buy a Burndy cable for the Superline (IIRC it's the same as a SNAXO Burndy).

Cat,

i was faced with the same except that I was only using 1 HC.  But as I have 3 sources I chose to put the SC on the 282 and the HC on the Superline I sent to Salisbury for the DR treatment.

Hope this helps.

Exactly the same dilema.

Chose to power my 282 with a single HiCapDR. I felt that SuperCap was making it too bloated.

Added SuperCapDR to my SuperLine instead - what a joy it is. One downside to this: it requires a Burndy and a 4-pin to 5-pin Lavender or HiLine.
