Anti surge , Naim Nova

Seeking advice. I need to use a mains extension lead to reach the Naim Nova. Is an anti surge mains block a good idea.

No - it’s not. Just a regular cable is sufficient. Just make sure no neon lights on it (the little red ones that illuminate a switch).

No, as simple as possible with reasonable current capacity and turn it off for thunder storms or when you go away.
