Sound on Nova goes from bad to marvelous!

Seems odd! I noticed on the Nova, some times whilst playing music the Sound all of a sudden goes bad in a sence its sounds very dull ans laidback. But after a minute or so it pops of normal again. Anyone here has this issue also?
That sounds very much like some intermittent external influence (such as bursts of RFI on the mains), but there is also a chance that it could be a fault with the unit.
How often does it happen? Is there a pattern to the occurrences, such as a time of day when they are more prevalent?
It seems to me that this has to do with the unit getting settled ...
If the change is sudden, possibly someone turning on a hairdryer, central heating pump, or other interfering device.
Sounds like a fault to me - mine often sounds less good like your description, but it will be for hours at a time, never to return in a listening session. I don't notice it "go", so it's a gradual thing - I become aware that my attention is drifting. The drive seems to go, as well as there being tonal differences. As Huge says probably an external influence. With mine it seems best during morning/afternoon and worse in the evenings, but I've not tracked down an obvious cause yet. I had thought the boiler, but the sound doesn't recover when the boiler goes off - I suspect the cause is not in my house. Once "gone" it stays gone, there's no return to how it was.
[Klout10 - my Nova takes around 30 minutes to settle so I don't think it's that Fred47 is noticing, nothing sudden happens to my Nova during that period, it sounds fine to start with and just gets noticably better as time goes by until there's no more improvement.]
I'd check with your dealer if I were you, perhaps with an email to Naim support too.
