Which app (IOS or Android) and what are your rooms? Are they connected by wifi or ethernet cable? What router are you using?

And what do you mean by "total lock down" exactly? Was it always like it or has it changed?

Which version of BT Router?

Does connecting to the data source from the front panel and/or the IR remote work OK.

What are the settings (and capabilities) of your MuSo and router?
Are you using DHCP?
IGMP snooping?
DLNA mode (if there is one)?
UPnP setting?

Have you tried using NetAnalyser to see if the network devices are visible via the right protocols?

Hello Huge

If the OP has IOS then swiping the app will often find a missing room, but it is probably an underlying router issue that is making that necessary.  (I have been on a BT home hub with a Qb and the IOS app for a week now in a holiday cottage and I've had rock solid instant discovery every time.)

If he has Android then restarting the app may not help I think, although it would be worth trying anyway as it's a lot quicker than restarting the router.

Did you get your NAP 300 working again?

Hi David,

Indeed without further info it's impossible to give much guidance to the OP.

Off topic:

I found the problem wasn't the 300, a ferrite had slipped position by about 125mm and for some reason that was causing a problem for the 272 (although I've no idea why this should be a problem for it), but removing the ferrites has cured the problem.  I don't think they're needed now with the 272/300, but they had been a considerable help when I had an ND5 XS / Nait XS 2, so I had just kept them in place.

Re the off topic:

That is very odd indeed. It is hard to think of any even moderately likely scenario where moving a ferrite a few inches along an audio cable should cause the audio to stop flowing. Of course what you should do is now check whether putting the ferrite back in the right place allows everything to work and whether it's repeatable. (But if it were me, I would probably gratefully accept it was working again and leave well alone).

As Naim don't put ferrites on their interconnects, I think you are safe feeding your 300 from your 272 without  ferrites!
