Mono out from 282 to Headphone Amp

Two part question.

Can the record out feature of my 282 feed a mono signal with the proper cable to a stereo headphone amp and remain mono. Can the Headline be powered by the 282 like a Stageline?

Not sure about the mono issue, but the Headline needs an external PSU, eg. NAPSC, Flatcap or Hicap.

Re. Mono out, yes, you can output in mono to a connected headphone amp by engaging the mono button on the Record select button bank.

the Headline should not be powered by a preamp Aux2, it requires a dedicated supply - NAPSC, flat cap, Hicap, or Supercap.
