Better the system: an investment that payed out really well

Dear all,
I recently upgraded my system in small steps onto the NAC282/HiCApDr/NAPsc/NDX/250DR with Focal Kanta 2. I am very happy with it. Most of my music is on either NAS or through Tidal, and both deliver a quality that outperforms my expectations.
When the Focal Kanta 2's arrived, the dealer of course installed and placed them. The had a slight toe in with some 30cm from the back wall and both pass ports open without any adjustment. The Naim equipment was checked and some basic cable dressing was done. The set-up satisfied me yet, I thought I heart some bass-boom. I also had the feeling that such a significant investment was worth the money for a second opinion of an expert.
Yesterday I had Garmt over. He is a well-known expert & authority in BeNeLux and professionally engaged in High-End. He is also very familiar with Naim. Garmt spend 3(!) hours to re-place and align my loudspeakers. This went through very precise steps (with first and audition in Mono) and ended up in a very tiny toe-in that came to the last centimeter. A process that he explained (and I could follow), but something I would never been able to do myself. The result is stunning: every aspect (depth, 3D placement, bass control, positioning but - most important - musicality) bettered significantly. Most important changes:
- close to no toe-in
- distance to back wall increased to 60 cm
- distance between speakers decrease some 15cm
As part of the assignment, I also got a full system-check. It appeared the order of the main-leads in the distribution block was wrong, and also some were power-plugs were 180° wrong. All the connections and connectors were checked and we did a comparison between my Nordost interconnect and the standard interconnect (and decided to stay with the Nordost).
In the end this resulted in a very significant improvement worth the time & investment.
On the short term the only investment we concluded was to replace the SupraLowRad distribution block with a PowerIgel which I will do.
Question: there was one we did not do. I have a hiss (not the traditional Naim hum) in my loudspeakers that almost certainly comes from the PowerPlugs. I have to use PowerPlugs to bring Internet to the Naim since fixed cabling causes to much breaking/damage/change to the house. So I use a PowerPlug next to the router where the Internet enters my house (basement). I use another powerplug in the living room next to the Naim. From that powerplug I go to a Netgear-swith which has the NAS, the NDX and a TVDigiBox. I was advised to look for a "filter" on the PowerPlugs. Can anybody recommend what I exactly should look for? PowerPlugs are Devolo.
Cheers
Iver
