Nova software problem

I've just purchased a Uniti nova and am very happy with the sound. However, after a couple of weeks the album cover image on the front remained stuck on a previous image. I’m told naim are aware and trying to resolve the problem but I would like to know if other nova owners have experienced similar problems and if so are there any indications when an update will be issued.

Yes it has been reported. Upgrade due mid June apparently

I have a Nova, as part of the 2.6 update process the artwork disappeared completely, have reported this to Naim, they are working on a fix.

Yep, another sufferer here, it’s happened once to me and putting it into hard standby (hold in the standby button in the front) fixed it, as Mercky says a known fault.
Thanks Eoink, tried your remedy and it cleared the problem (for now).
I had a frozen image on my Atom. Installing the latest firmware fixed it for me.

Did it alter your sound quality?
To be honest, I'd only owned the Uniti Atom for a week or so before I did the update.
I had new speakers in a new listening environment, so I really couldn't say I noticed any difference at all.

Yesterday I bought a Naim Unity Nova from Akkelis Audio Gothenburg in Sweden.
I'm having trouble getting started with it.
Fought a whole day to pair the remote control with Naim Nova and I did not succeed. I have visited the forum and read carefully how to proceed and at the same time I have read your instructions on your website and it is not possible. When I started Nova, a display came up so I got to pair the remote control and I tried 15 times from different angles and very close to the screen just as you describe and it is not possible. I tried to charge Naim the app to my Iphone and managed to update Naim Nova with the latest software that is (2.6.9508).
After that, I tried to repeat the process of pairing my remote with Nova without success.
I can not listen to music or browse any Nova application or control in any way, simply I have no access to enjoy the music.
Is there any other way to fix this problem?
Did you check if batteries are in the right way around in the remote? Does it light up when you move it?
Vladimir, you should be able to control the Nova with the Naim app on your phone. In fact, many of the controls are only available on the app, and I rarely use the remote. It's frustrating when you can't get things to work, but you should still be able to listen to music on your Nova. Good luck.
Vladimir, has your dealer been able to help you? Ultimately that's your first port of call, and you have effectively paid them to ensure it's set up and working to your satisfaction. Failing that, you could try the distributor, or Naim support, but it's a long holiday weekend here in the UK so it won't be open again until Tuesday.
I have checked the batteries and they are in the right position.
It's black to control with the naim app ... nothing happens with nova.
can not scroll between the apps or select input and have never managed to turn on music. It is not possible to control between apps, play function or find my nas server or radio. The display shows the same app configuration, and the OFF button sometimes flashes
I think you should take it back to your dealer and get them to pair the remote tobthe Nova. Also if you take your phone with the app on, they should be able to help you to get it all working together.

I have been talking to the dealer and agreed to send back the product ... and they will send me new naim nova after I have told of all the actions I have taken.
