Leaving Tidal, anyone had any problems?

Posted by: Wiltshireman on 26 May 2018

Hi all. I recently decided to leave Tidal not that I was displeased with the service I just didn't use it enough. I duly ended things with them and they sent me a goodbye message but since then I keep getting emails about them having problems in them receiving my payments. I have of course put a stop to them with my bank which I am grateful I did for as they  haven't actually switched me off yet. Anyone else had any problems ?

I had a similar experience, payment was on my credit card and I was cancelling several different subscriptions.  Like you not listening to it.  I remember them on the phone saying they were the best and high end, and why would I leave?  I told them I was reducing all my expenses period, They had to comply and did.  That touched my irritation zone.  I'm not as much into the recent jazz and R&B.  I have my faves at home.

Yes similar to all that,  I cancelled the account but you just don't seem to actually leave.  Much like Hotel California  We You are programmed to receive.  You can check out any time you like,  But you can never leave! "

I finally seemed to have lost them until a week or so when I go something,  not sure what it was as I didn't read it,  but I noticed an "unsubscribe" button that got hit,  so hopefully ........

If junk like that doesn’t stop coming, I try unsubscribing. If that doesn’t work, mark it as spam, and the computer soon learns to send it there automatically.

Thanks for that. I did think that being Linn recommended then they would have really high standards but that doesn't seem to be the case. Probably won't go there again.

Not had this problem ...left them for several months...without a word or email

Then I went back ...and am still with them...

But you cannot blame them for wanting to hang onto every last customer in this tough market place??

Spamming me with ads for music that I would never listen to is the last thing that would tempt me back!
