Have I become crazy?

I have two Nap 200's which are on top of each other (for some here indeed a reason to call me crazy) and I'm pretty sure that the one on top is moving a few (2?) millimeters per month.
Anyone ever seen this? Or should I forbid my kids to enter the room, seal the room and wait?
I've just re-aligned them and I'll know it in a few weeks.
It's the kids....
It's easier for the one on top to move because it doesn't have the weight of another on top of it.
Anyway this will fuel a theory that all Naim equipments have a very gentle tendency to move towards Salisbury. Each model has another way of doing it. The Unitiserve just manages a major fault when it feels homesick, whereas the NAP200 is much more subtle and hopes to do it by subterfuge, prepared to take its time.

Are you sure it's the one on top? Perhaps they are both moving?

True! In which case it could be said that the top one is leading the bottom one astray.

It's telling you to put it on a Fraim.
I swear I once saw two elves moving my 555PS. They disconnected all the cables and gave it a thorough clean. The next morning it sounded magical.
Could the bottom one be moving, trying to slip out from under its twin?

They hadn't realised that the factory was having its summer shutdown just then. It must have been quite annoying when they discovered that!

So, it must be what they call the 'Use of Salisbury'. I better stay far from music which has to do with pelgrimage.
Be happy it were elves. Dwarfs are less civilized.
Not sure that Pterry Pratchett would agree about elves...
Have you been listening to Gong albums again? Particularly from the flying teapot era? If so, it’s most likely to be pothead pixies.
It’s only PRaT and the 200s themselves have been foot tapping. That’s all. ????

I don't see how the top one can move,it's much more likely the one on the bottom is sliding slightly while the top stays in place

Yes, that is what I suspected - easy to check by markin the shelf with an erasible marker or removeabke tape - though it would be appropriate to also mark the floor in case the rack is moviny as well and just the top obe remaining still.
Of course the other possibility is the house also moving, which only a couple of millimetres may be less easy to check...
As Einstein predicted- time runs faster at altitude. So would be a good idea to alternate the top to the bottom 200 so that they will need that recapping at the same time.
Is the one below that shakes off the weight it has above. Wouldn't you do the same?
The transformers pushing each other apart?

No doubt there are strong electromagnetic fields between the transformers, but the 200s weigh over 11-kg each. I wonder about the racking - maybe not isolating the units from bass energy in the room, especially if the gear is between the speakers. And maybe not level, canted slightly to the rear. Micro-rattling causes the upper unit to move infinitesimally downhill. The friction on the pads of the bottom 200 is greater than the friction on the upper unit's pads. Over time, these immeasurable movements are manifested in a few millimeters migration.
