ND555 Roadshows

My dealer has just posted that their ND555 demo unit has arrived, so I would imagine most dealers should be getting theirs as well, with customer orders following shortly.????

The anticipation is killing me.....

This customer’s order at the dealership now but installation has to wait for Saturday.

Import tariffs are always a worry in current political climate ! 

Indeed, but a more detailed discussion of the origins of said tariffs has long been banned in the padded cell even, so here we must just marvel at the way geopolitics potentially affects simple music lovers pursuing their hobby. Fingers crossed....

My dealer has posted ND555 now on demo.....probably let the initial buzz to die down and have my serious decision. Will call them very soon.

Paul at Billy Vee has just set up his ND555 dem unit today - sounding good out of the box apparently....

Knowing Naim gear it will sound vastly better after several weeks of playing . Burn in is very real thing with Naim equipment.

I know for a fact that they are coming soon!  Dealers are taking orders for their first arrivals NOW.

We should have ND555 at the same time as most UK dealers.

No Tariffs for now. Pressure has dropped a bit with yesterday's discussions...

I hope the other two streamers scheduled release is on-time and released in North America at the same time as most UK dealers with no Tariffs :-)

According to my dealer the NDX2 is scheduled for 6 weeks time, so first week in August.

Or September even....!

It does seem to be going much more to schedule this time. Dealer told me end of July for ND555 and it’s arrived and on demo......so hopefully your Core will have a new friend to play with soon????

No I meant six weeks time is the first week in September not August. I haven't decided to go for an NDX2 yet, although I am tempted. But I think I may wait to see what happens re a 272 successor.

I'm on the same plan David.      I intend to go for NDX2, however that will not happen until its been in production for 1 year or more & also how customers satisfaction & reliability gets reported.   However if something like a '372' or '572' then that will be the one - a quality streamer + quality pre combo - one box driving ATC SMC40A's is the ultimate objective.

Hopefully by that time Naim will have made available detailed user guides and specifications thus that we will be able to make informed choices on what to buy or not to buy!
