Airplay Dropouts on Nova

Just wondering if anyone else experiencing a drop out issue on the Nova when using Airplay?

Plays for about 40 - 50 seconds then drops out for about 5 seconds. Have tried from iPhone X, iPhone 6s, Apple Watch 3 and iTunes (on Windows 10) but same result. Am trying to engineer a move from Spotify to Apple Music so this is a major hurdle to that.

I can confirm and experience the same issue. I'm using Apple Music, iPhone 7, iOS 11.4. Don't really know if it has something to do with the new iOS 11.4 Update. Cannot remember so much dropouts with 11.3.

I'm hoping the imminent Airplay 2 software release might fix this...

These kind of dropouts are usually down to wi-fi issues, but is it a new thing you're both seeing?

Is the Nova wired or on wifi? Can you test it wired with a wired computer?

Thanks, I just got a response from Naim saying that they think it's a wifi issue. Not sure it's quite that cut and dry  as nothinhg else connected via wifi (including a Yamaha Sound Bar) experiences dropouts. The Nova is connected to a Netgear Orbi via wired connection and the devices from which I'm using Airplay have all been in direct sight of the Orbi, about 3-4 metres away. This problem is new to me as I'm trying to migrate across to Apple Music so first time using Airplay. Just as a comparison, I can stream Spotify from exactly the same devices to the Nova and works perfectly and always has.

Update - Just changed the Nova from wired to wireless and the dropouts have disappeared completely. Went back to wired and dropouts reappeared. Will experiment a bit more with the network cable and perhaps changing the port on the router to see what happens.

I have struck the odd issue with Orbi and ethernet connected devices. For whatever reason the Orbi gives significantly slower speeds with wired devices, which should not be the case.

I have found that a factory reset on the Orbi resolves this, however painful as it may be to input your ISP settings all over again.
