Where next? Maximise use of existing older kit or get rid of it?

I'm a hoarder pure and simple, and hate getting rid of things, or perhaps am poor at selling/passing things on, especially when they were expensive purchases to begin with.
My hi-fi journey began in the mid 80's having 'looked after' a fellow Uni student's kit over the summer holidays - a revelatory Pink Triangle turntable coupled with I think an Onix OA 21 and some Mission speakers, sounded gorgeous when all I had at University was a cheap and nasty Sony turntable hooked up to a fondly remembered Sharp dual cassette stereo 'ghetto blaster'.
Started with a Rega turntable, Aracm alpha amp and a pair of B&W DM 110i speakers.
The Rega was replaced by a Linn Axis with a K9 cartridge. I wish I'd kept the Axis as a second turntable, but money was tight and it was replaced by an LP12/Akito with the K9, and I still can't figure out quite how I paid for it! I can remember my fellow students ridiculing me for spending £500 or so on the Lingo which transformed the LP12, but when they heard the difference they could see there was more to 'power supplies' than you'd expect.
