Forum Daily Digest. A place of learning

I enjoy reading the Daily Digest, although most of it may not be relevant to me at the moment there is always something to learn that can sometimes be utilised at no expense in my own system. It's also amusing to read others prejudices and experience especially when they don't match our own (we all have prejudices), it shows that we all hear music differently. I must say that I'm still amazed at the number of people who have bought equipment and then talk about upgrading it a month later! That to me seems a complete waste of money. It's almost as if you're not listening properly at the demo, or perhaps prejudiced before starting. I think perhaps a good look using the search function through this forum to read others thoughts on the equipment you wish to audition and compare would be a useful start before parting with hard earned cash. Long may this forum continue. Some of the in depth replies are especially interesting. Rich
