2.6.1 the HDMI ARC on nova has stopped working

Hello Experts

I have a new issue with Nova on 2.6.1 , earlier HDMI arc connected to Samsung TV was working fine on 2.6.0 for 2 months no issues. Now it shows no signal found, and i feel it could be cause of 2.6.1 upgrade.

Has anyone seen this, any help?

ARC working fine with my Uniti Star / Samsung 4K TV - both running latest firmware.

thanks Gregwpgibbs, after 3-4 restarts it is back to working now!, not sure what caused it.

Atom HDMI here. For some reason I have to turn the Atom off and on again, or else..... no sound. Strange.

I have found HDMI performance on my Atom with a Samsung TV to be wildly erratic. Occasionally it works as it should, but it never lasts. Sometimes it doesn’t come on when it should, and sometimes a restart fixes that. Lip sync can be just right, or absolutely miles out. A couple of days ago the TV wouldn’t mute, so there were two sound sources playing slightly out of sync. I’ve pretty much given up on it for now.

I have the same unreliable HDMI behaviour with my Nova connected to an LG TV.

Only after switching on & off the TV and changing back and forth the inputs on the Nova, suddenly there is sound..... No clue what was wrong in the first instance! Apparently we just have to be patient with the Naim machines.....
