NAIT XS2 display lights

Have just returned from holiday and powered up NAIM NAIT XS2 as usual but now find I cannot dim the display as before. As a 'newbie' I cannot claim to fully understand what has changed or indeed how to correct it. Any bright ideas would be appreciated - thanks

You can defeat the button illumination by toggling the DISP button the remote (make sure the remote is in Pre softkey mode). However, the Naim logo has to remain lit when the unit is on.

Thanks for your response - the DISP button on remote is not responding so how do I put it into Pre softkey mode?

Make sure you press the ‘pre’ button in order to have the display button aligned to your amplifier, it might be aligned to e.g. a CD player ...
