Is there a way to manually / automatically sort the order of favorite Albums, Artists, Tracks & Playlists ?

You don’t say what UPnP server software you’re using but I would say that this might be possible by configuring the server’s browse view.

For example you might use one of the main views e.g. Genre (which can handle multiple values) and have bespoke genre values such as Favourite Album, Favourite Artist etc. with the Album below this level   and tag your favourites accordingly.

Oh right, I forgot to mention that I meant the Core with the Naim App.   I can mark Albums as favorites, but they are listed in the order of the time I marked them.   Wonder if there is a way to manually or automatically sort them in alphabet order etc ?

That's no problem. When looking at your playlist, press and hold on a selected track, and it will "come forward" and you just drag it to the preferred position in the playing order.

Glad to know that tracks could be rearranged under the Playlists on Naim App.

But what I meant was the listing order of the Favorite Albums,  Artists, Tracks and Playlists groups.  

For example, on my CORE, I have marked Hiromi, Stacey Kent, Olivia Ong, Melody Gardot, Gwyneth Herbert, Johanne Cantara as my Favorite Artists.    They are listed under Artists in the order of creation, rather than alphabetical order.  

The "press and hold" action doesn't work to change their orders of listing.     

Because if there are only talking about 10 to 20 Favorite Artists, it is not an issue to find a specific artist from the list.   But if the Favorite Artists have built up to 50 or 100, it will be clumsy to go thru the list for a specific artist without a logical and easy to read order.

This applies to Favorite Albums, Tracks and Playlists groups, too.

And especially Playlists, it is the one most easily built up to over 20 and beyond.   Even not so to some people, it should make sense to put them under a sensible order of listing, shouldn't it ?

So, that's what I am asking if there are methods to manually or automatically sort the Favorite Albums, Tracks and Playlists groups in alphabet order, etc ?
