NDS and Tidal help
Posted by: fathings cat on 29 July 2018
I can use Tidal on my muso but when I try and use it on my main system (NDS) it just says cant play skip track - am I missing something obvious re set up?
Thanks in advance
Gary
Hi Gary, I've had this issue a couple of times, try powering your NDS on/ off I.e a reboot.
I have tried the turn it off/on and still no joy. Just get “can’t play skipped track” message.
thanks
Gary
Is your NDS on current firmware? I'm thinking that you may want to do a factory reset of your NDS, especially if you didn't do one after a recent firmware update.
But before that, you should probably try restarting your router. So turn off your router and your NDS, restart your router and when it's finished turn your NDS back on again.
best
David
Thanks David, I’ll give that a go this evening

Sorry to hear that you've still got issues, my NDS is v4.4, what software version is your NDS?
Also, try emailing Naim Customer Support as they've always been very helpful when I've contacted them in the past. Best to give them versions of what you're using and NDS serial number.

Steve
Gary,
This is a long shot but you did ask for any other suggestions.
In the Tidal settings does the quality you have selected match up with your subscription?
What I'm trying to say is for example I only subscribe to premium so if my quality setting was at HiFi it won't play anything.
A long shot, but worth checking.

Mike
Cheers Mike, can’t seem to find settings.... it’s strange as it alll works on Muso & QB,
Ill have a chat with my dealer as next step.
