naim dr hicap to cd5si

Hi people,ive just purchased a new Hicap dr.i have it hooked into the pre and power but want to know if i can hook it in to my cd5si out of the additional signal output.im knew to the naim eqipment and know very little about it.Thanks

No, you cannot connect the CD5Si to the hicap. The CD5Si is Naim’s entry level CD player and cannot be upgraded with an external power supply. The din output of the CD player carries audio only and can only be connected to the pre amp.
