I am currently using the Naim ND5XS connected to a Synology NAS, with Acces (After abandoning Twonky ).
Since a couple of weeks the Naim app on the Ipad is losing its connection to either the streamer and/or the NAS. Most often it reports that there are no"chambers" to be found, sometimes it just sits idle with a "wheel" turning and sometimes it identifies the streamer, but cannot find servers.
I have tried all the usual solutions, switching down and restarting everything from streamer, Ipad, and router but nothing solves the issue permanently so far.
Also none of my other apps on the Ipad is experiencing any network issues, the wireless speed is 100Mbps, the speed on the cable between the Naim and the NAS is also 100Mbps.
The only thing (sometimes) seems to work is shut down the Naim app on the Ipad and start the same app on a different Ipad. I noticed that in the past it was possible to have the Naim app active on both Ipads, but that is no longer possible.
Is there anyone out there who has experienced the same problem and can suggest a possible solution for me?

Funny you should mention this, as I’ve been having the same trouble on the iPad with both the production App and the Beta version. The iPhone version is, however, perfectly fine. I tried restarting the app, deleting and reloading it and nothing worked. The only thing that helped was rebooting the iPad, which is one if the latest Mini 4s. Then it went wrong again and I deleted the app again, which this time worked. Then it stopped again but later sprang back to life by itself.
The network is fine, everything else of the iPad is fine and the iPhone is fine. I don’t understand it at all.

sorry, It is a Qnap, the Synology was my previous NAS
Asset (dBpoweramp) is my replacement for Twonky after having too many album cover issues. apologies for the confusion.

I have had that problem, but only seem to notice it after burning CD's to the NAS. It usually resolves with a reboot of the NAS. Twice since February of this year I have had to power down the SN2 and NDX as well as reboot the NAS. It is a slight irritant and wish everything would be 100% perfect but..........

Not sure this helps but you aren't able to have two versions of the app connected to a legacy streamer at the same time. If you have one connected and try to use a second one, you should get an error message on the second one. It's different with the new Unitis.

First the disclaimer...I’m far from being an expert in this area. That being said, it sounds like you may have a Network ID or Band selection issue between your hi-fi system and iPad. You don’t give a lot of information about how you’ve got your wi-fi connected and configured.
