SBL seal.

Hi there,

A simple question, but might not be easy to answer. If anyone knows of, or could link to a video that would probably do it.

Word is that if you push the woofer of an SBL, and the seal is sound, it will move back slowly. How slowly?

I'm bound to redo the seals in the end, but it's equally certain that I won't do it straight away. It'd be nice to have a rough idea how good it is or isn't before I listen to them.

Also, does anyone have an active link to Gary's famous setup guide?

Thanks a lot,

David

If it moves gradually over several seconds, rather than just popping straight out again, it’s ok.

Thanks. I was about to ask how many seconds, and apologise for asking such and irritating question, when it occurred to me that I could just get up off the couch and push in the woofers of my brother in laws ported speakers. Now I know the seals must be pretty good.

If they're still like this after another 500 miles I'll be alright.
