I use one rack 6 shelves 5 units. Empty shelf between streamer + preamp and below the gap 2 x ps and power amp.
Is there any reason why sticking the sheet, for sale on the site in the above link, would be a bad idea? It's only £14.

Because I have found that getting some vertical space between digital source and pre-amp is really worthwhile. It was really significant with CD players - critical even, perhaps a bit less so with DACs and streamers, hence why I suggested to try both ways.

Thanks. Yes, that makes sense, and I always had a gap between my CDP and preamp. In this case it’s a trade off between that and the impact of a power supply directly beneath the streamer head. As you say, it’s well worth trying both. Luckily, with a 272 it’s not something I’ve needed to try.

Agreed regarding separation. My fraim has the HiCaps at the bottom as far apart as the shelf will allow, the Armageddon in the centre of the next shelf, the 250.2DR on the next and the 32.5 on the top offset to the left. THor's anvil is seated on a seapate volcanic plug of granite.
