powerline on a blu-ray

Hello.

As anyone tried connecting a powerline to a blu-ray player. I am thinking if there would be any benefit to the blu-ray picture, if not i would probably guess the audio would gain some benefit. Whats your verdict. Thanks

Try it.  Powerline has improved everything I have tried it on.  I have one on my DC turntable motor and I think I can hear it.

Ive installed a dedicated 10mm t+e mains point to my tv/bluray/humax and its made a significant difference. Even under blind testing conditions, as I inadvertently plugged the humax into the household ring main circuit without realising and for 3 days I noticed the picture looked a bit flat and dull. As soon as I realised and reconnected it to the uprated mains the picture improved.

I’ve put a power line on my Arcam AV amp which is connected to a 65 inch OLED Panasonic TV. It made a significant improvement to the picture quality. The cable I used previously had high grade plugs and top notch copper wire but the power line made a difference over that. The sound quality has also improved.

As others will say just try it. I’d be surprised if it didn’t make a difference. I’ve not tried it on my OPPO player just in case it improves things even further then I’d be tempted to buy another!
