Had  you heard the speakers sounding good before you bought them? Do you know what amp that was with? I’m assuming you didn’t audition at home - if they sounded good in a deferent room, how similar is your room?

Even if someone has a direct answer to your question, it may be the wrong question: more useful might be to ask how different the Naim might be expected to sound compared to the Rega.

Can you describe what aspect you feel is not doing as well as you feel it should?

Rooms can have a big effect. What is your room like - dimensions? What sort of furnishings? Where atre your speakers and listening position located, and  have you played with their placement?

I used a pair of MA Silver RS6s with a NAP 90.3 for about a year, maybe 2. They worked quite well I recall, but when I moved to a more capable amp, the NAP 300, I decided to upgrade my speakers as well.

I have a UQ2 with MA Silver Rx2 and make a good synergy.  (In a 4x5m room)

I use MA GX300 Golds, and have done since my revisit to the world of Naim.

This old story that MA and Naim don't mix is absolute c**p. Possibly in the old days, but certainly not with the MA Gold series.

Hear, hear...

I also use MA GX300s... tested many other speakers, but in my room, with my setup Monitor Audio Golds work extremely well. I even tried the massive Platinum ones - just didn’t work in my room.
A word of advice - Monitor Audios can be quite sensitve as to what they rest on - SSC Magic Point supports balanced the sound well.

So, you liked it at the dealer with that amp. Did it sound the same once you first had it at home,  but you feel that something is holding the sound back, or do you mean, or did it never sound as good at home?

It sounds good as it did at dealers ,but I would like to improve the sound quality ,my source  is a linn akurate ds and my Nas is a melco .

So the question is which would give you the improvement in sound you seek: change amp, or speakers. (Source possibly, but maybe not, and room possibly - an oft-negtlected area, from positioning to acoustics), it might help focus ideas if you can identify anything you feel,is lacking or not as good as you’d like it.

I used MA GR60s for many years, first with a top end olive system and then with a Superuniti. I was very happy with them having chosen them over Naim Allaes and equivalents from Spendor, Dynaudio, and B&W. Only the Dynaudio came close for me. Only swapped to N-sats and sub for space/room arrangement reasons.

Another Naim & Monitor audio user here. I think the Naim / MA poor matching myth may have originated from the early metal dome tweeters that MA started using in the early 1990s. They could really sizzle at the top end and even break glass at certain frequencies! Remember comparing my 252s (still have them - been switched in and out over the years) with the latest MA metal dome incarnation (852 I think, although can't be sure) and having bleeding ears after only a short dem. They were ‘spitty’ with anything, not just Naim amps, as I tried them with Musical Fidelity & Exposure too. They practically stripped the paint from the walls. Painful.

New MAs are so much better than they were, but with the caveat that I’ve only heard them for brief dems in association with other kit, or at shows. So no home dem experience. The only reason i haven’t bothered exploring the range is due to the rear (FFS) ports. May do at some point though as I like the brand and their build quality is top notch.

I had both Gold 100 and Gold 200 on SU and 272+250DR. Really good synergy, although I always felt I should get better speakers for my naim kit. Since than I left the MA camp for Elac 244BE (better but still a temporary solution) but I'm still looking for matching performers (PMC 25 series / new Contours ..)

In my opinion, MA Silver makes sense in a multi channel system or entry level naim kits like Qute or 5i. 202+200 deserve way better.
