It is not available to re-download (I wish they'd reconsider this for the Unitis and presumably the new classic style streamers).

If you've not deleted/reinsatlled the Naim app I'd try that - I assume you've also checked which inputs are selected in the app Settings in case it's got set to off (even if on toggle it off/on anyway).

Probably worth doing a factory restore of the Star via the Star's screen menus prior to considering it a firmware issue.

Contact Naim support to explain the problem and request an older firmware.

I currently run an older firmware on my Nova as I'm one of a few who prefer it sonically.

Older firmware is not officially supported and as the Naim app changes you may find you can't control certain things with the older firmware (eg max volume/balance are missing when I use older firmware with newer app versions).
