Buchardt speakers...

Anyone around here familiar with these, the S400 in particular? If so, do they match well with Naim?
Thank you.
I'm also interested.
The S400 do look like an interesting design, esp with that large passive radiator. Given the ambitious claim on the website "Can be placed directly up against a wall and upside down if necessary" .. maybe they are more flexible than they appear. I thought that sort of design would need space around them.
After a quick search there seems to be positive online buzz about Buchardt, but I'd prefer to demo rather than the direct sales thing.
They can be tested for 30 days, then returned. Buchardt will pay for both shipments. I'm really interested!

As far as I'm concerned that's better than what most brick and mortar dealers I know offer. In store demoing is practically useless and borrowing a pair of speakers for a weekend doesn't always give you enough time to really get to discover what their real personality will be like after breaking in. Then there are those who expect you to buy the speakers but will only offer the possibility to trade them for something of equal value or more or will offer a refund but with restocking fees. I had that dropped on me from a place that I'd been buying from for 30 years. The boss said he didn't wish to lend out gear anymore because of too many late returns, damages, etc. Incredulous, it was the last time I did business with them.
Its worth searching on Youtube for a reviewer called “Thomas & Stereo” and also “Zero Fidelity”. They have posted their thoughts on the S300 and S400 respectively. The Zero Fidelity chap also has a pending in depth review of the S400 due to be released in a couple of weeks. From the comments he made, it promises to be a very good all rounder indeed.
The chap from Zero Fidelity has posted his in depth review of the S400 and its now available on his youtube channel. In summary, the review is pretty glowing and to be fair to this YouTube reviewer, generally he's not usually one for over the top hyperbole.
