Naim NDX2

Surely you were happy when you demo'd it?

I thought the NDX2 with XPSDr was a very good source for a system, don,t worry you will be happy with your purchase.

Unfortunately or maybe naively, I didn’t demo it before purchase. I have listened to the NDX previously and was very impressed. Recent experience has led me to make the jump from CD’s to streaming.

The part of the world I live in meant that we were at the end of the list when it came to Naim Roadshows and also it happened to coincide with when I was outside of the country. So in a blind leap of faith I made the purchase.

So I guess I was keen to see whether the NDX2 was a big step up from the SQ of the NDX that I remember.

I heard it with a 555 into 282/SC/250 and Kudos 505s.  Excellent in all regards,  the only reason for not purchasing is my reluctance to give up my CDS3.

You are in for a treat. The NDX was, as you recall, a great piece of kit. The NDX2 is even better. Heard one today in a 552/500/S600 system. Very close to the CD555. And that's from cold. You may be impatient but need not stress the result.

As it happens, there was a demo last week in Auckland with almost the exact same setup as yours. It’s excellent and I’m sure you will love it. If you don’t, send it north to Whangarei ????

Mine arrived on Thursday and cold out of the box was excellent. 24 hours later it was really starting to come on song. A long way ahead of outgoing NDX. Enjoy.

I have now heard the NDX2 twice at dealer - it is a very very good streamer

having heard it recently on the same set up - yes works very nicely indeed
