Connecting Tidal

I must be dumb so I need some help. I have signed up to Tidal but don't know how to play on my NDS or Qute. I have version 4.6 installed on the streamers and 2.6 installed on the phone and tablet. I can get the stream playing on these but can't see how to connect to the Naim streamers.

You go to the Tidal input under settings in the Naim app, enable the input, and then sign in using the credentials you set up when you registered.

Many thanks I've gone to input settings and Tidal is not coming up on the list. I've iRadio etc including Spotify but no Tidal?

I think I know what this is. To get Tidal you have to update to 4.4 before 4.6, rather than going straight to 4.6. The fix is to install 4.4 from the Naim website, and then do 4.6. Tidal will then appear.

Many thanks after updating with 4.4 it works! Seems crazy to me that you can update to 4.6 without the previous updates being included automatically!

Because you may not have tried to move from an older to a newer version of MacOs that are separated by some intermediate releases....

This was an oversight by Naim when they put 4.6 together and was not as they intended, but anyway as HH says if you are on 4.6 and Tidal is missing from the input choices, the correct fix is to roll back to 4.4 and then roll forward to 4.6 again.
