Back to FM

Chaps,

I took delivery of a new car this Monday which came with a Harman Kardon system albeit not that i specified.

I loaded several CDs which okay not bad but I then switched to FM and Radio 3.  Absolutely superb.  Did a 21/5 hour journey to East Anglia today, quite the most enjoyable journey in a long long time.

I understand it will play WAV so will get a memory stick and try a couple of tracks.

Regards,

Lindsay

The Hk in my 2016 MINI didn’t have a CD option and doesn’t seem to play WAVs, so I’m jealous, enjoy!

I will be there first thing......it was good today. Not many people know that most car Hifi is made by Harmann Kardom owned by google. Even the high end brands that have got into designing for vehicles may not actually manufacture the amps and speakers, but just design and the implementation such as isolation, damping etc , mentioning no Naim’s.

Yes Samsung bought the group they were part of for 8 Billion dollars a couple of years ago supposedly to get into car electronics and autonomus vehicles?
