Are a Naim XPS2 and a 555PS viable for use with a CD555, compared to a dual 555PS.

I have read about how two 555PS power supplies are better than one with a CD555.
I HAVE a CD555 and one 555PS. I was wondering whether it is possible to use an XPS2 plus a 555PS together to power the two separate sides (digital and analogue) of the CD555. Anyone please? Thanks, folk.
No, it won’t work.
Only the 555PS (one or two) should be used to power the CD555.
Curious about your active ATCs ... how are you finding them? I'm currently contemplating a of SCM50 asl
CD555 with one power supply. Brilliant. Even better with two. Both DR! Must be 555PS and no other.
Gives my Stiletto Linn LP12 a close run thing.
Douglas.
Thank you guys. My question is answered! Cheers!

They are very clear and revealing. Probably my room would have been better with 50s or 100s, but I only had the opportunity to get these 150s, so I was stuck with that choice. In fact I have some fab passive Celef speakers elsewhere in the house which use the same 9½” bass units that are used in the 50s, and they used to fill a 20’ square room with sound. But beggars can’t be choosers, and I AM a beggar, plus I’ve never shrunk away from BIG systems. Never WAS a shrinking violet. ???? Always believed that good bass requires plenty of air shifting, and being a bass guitarist, good tight but thunderous bass, (when it needs to be) is very important to me. Physics is physics is physics.
As others have said, it's only one or two 555PS on the CD555. No other PSUs. If you were tempted to get a second 555PS, do try at home before you buy. I recently had a second 555PSDR on demo for a week at the end of which I concluded I preferred the CD555 with just the one PSU.

Thanks! I'm demming the 50s next week - my room is 6.5x5.5m so whilst i'd love the 150s i suspect they'd be overdoing things!
Listened to the SCM50 Actives last week....absolutely awesome....I think you need circa 30M2 - 50M2 room size for them to breathe....which you have...
To 'big' for my room (unfortunately)...I have a home demo of the SCM40 Actives later this week...
Good luck
