Mu-so Tweaks
Posted by: mackb3 on 29 December 2018
I did search in streaming and MR with no good finds. I picked up a Mu-so to evaluate and looking for advice/experiences to optimize performance. For example, placement, best platform to place upon, position from wall, height from floor. Currently it's on an IKEA Besta cabinet. Sound is very impressive for what it is. DSP can be spooky at times. Looking to wring out as much as possible. It's plugged in to dedicated mains same as my main N rig. Room 14x22 high sloping ceiling 8' to 11' long side. Pile on!

Wayne,
When you insert the link the photo will sow in the post before you reply. If not you most likely didn't copy the link location. Be sure to first select the insert/edit image icon.

OK, I see the link works back to the photo but doesn't actually show in the post. Man, that's pretty slick.

Richard,
Experimented with your direction and yes small changes make a difference. I was a little extreme and marked with painters tape in 1/2" increments (no metric here in the US) for reference. Got it dialed in nicely in the main room. More testing in other rooms to come. Possibly dedicated stand.
Thx

Well, I'm late to the Muso game but very impressed. Finally, an affordable active Naim system. I can imagine a Super Muso version in the future..?? Off to my next mechanical engineering project for 2 years and this puppy is tagging along.

I'm with Mack here...I can see another Muso replacing an aging CD 3.5/3R/Intro system in the living room down the road when it's not cost effective to repair. My first Muso has already displaced the big rig downstairs. It easily makes listening more fun than doing anything else which is the name of the game.

Full disclosure. David's post if his Muso on FB triggered my interest.
Thanks David...fun stuff!

28” . I think that I also had the option of 32”.
