NDX/202/200 vs SuperUniti ???

Hi Bros,
NDX/202/200 vs SuperUniti ???
Which performance is better?
Cheers,
marcobb
The better question is: how does it perform against Supernait /Ndx. I have a Supernait with Hicap. That was a big step forward. Is that possible with the SuperUniti?
Cheers,
M
NDX/202/200 has no redundancies and is double the price of a superuniti.
I think this gives you a good proxy for the information you are looking for...
Is the grass greener on the other side? Do you think the Mercedes will be better than the upcoming BMW? I don't know, it hasn't hit the market yet... Never mind, can you tell me anyway
Always, probably not, no - in that order

If I had to guess, I'd say the NDX/202/200 is better by a long way and I suspect that the NDX/SuperNait would also be better than the SuperUniti. As has already been said, it is much more expensive but probably more importantly:
1. The power amp is well away from all sensitive electronics in the DAC and pre-amp stages.
2. There are two separate power supplies
3. I beiieve the streamer in the SuperUniti is more like that in the UnitiQute than that is the NDX
4. I cannot be sure of this, but think it highly unlikely that the SuperUniti's DAC is anything like as sophisticated as that in the NDX, even if it uses the same A to D chip and signal processing - the NDX DAC circuit board is large and could not fit in the SuperUniti box together with the power amp and all the other bits and pieces.
I seem to remember wider scepticism when the Uniti was announced - I've an idea, why don't we wait until one is actually available and (this is a bit left-field I know) listen to it.
Otherwise I could argue that an Elk might have more bass - and whose to say I'm wrong ....
...go on You know you want to .....

I bet it's not. If it proves to be otherwise then I would be more staggered than a staggering man with a pronounced stagger who was staggering home after a night out drinking stagger inducing elixir in the Stagger & Elk.
Mind you I agree with Mr Tog that an Elk has got more bass.
