HDX and wifi

Posted by: Svital on 19 September 2011

Hello,

My HDX is connected to my NAS using wifi.

I can not read HD Flac audio tracks (24/96) : music is stopping, restarting, ... Does anybody who uses wifi have same problems?

Many problems occured when those files were "added" to the HDX music library: bad genre or cover art, ... How Can I rebuild the correct music list?

Wi Fi is not recommended for the HDX.   The band width is too limited.   Go for the CAT-5 / CAT-6 option.

What is the HDX ethernet speed : 10/100/1000?

It's 100.  Theoretically, a well functioning G network should give you about 20-25 Mbps..  I'm using the Netgear WNCE2001 with a weak wireless G signal and it's streaming internet radio (Paradise 320) just fine.

I installed 1.6, and tried internet radio. Paradise and others 320K ones work perfectly, using wifi.

But i still have the same problems listening to flac 24/96 files on my NAS...
